Kenny Bayless will be the third man in the ring for the unification bout in the cruiserweight division between Oleksandr Usyk and Mairis Briedis on January 27 in Riga. The judges will be Robin Taylor (USA), Craig Metcalfe and Robert Tapper (both of Canada).
Kenny Bayless will serve as the referee for the Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin middleweight championship fight on Saturday night (HBO, 8 ET) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He was appointed Monday at a Nevada State Athletic Commission meeting. Also appointed were the judges for the bout, Adalaide Byrd and Dave Moretti, both from Nevada, and Connecticut’s Don Trella.
