Former light heavyweight title contender Ismayl Sillah (27-6, 21 KOs) believes that the WBC light heavyweight champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk (16-0, 13 KOs) is able to become the undisputed world champion in his division: “I think that Gvozdyk can become the undisputed light heavyweight world champion. Now I work in the camp with Dmitry Bivol. He’s a very good boxer, I would not write him off either.”

Cruiserweight Ismayl Sillah of Ukraine resumed his professional career. After three defeats in a row, Sillah changed the team and finally won. The 33-year-old athlete fought at a boxing evening in Tijuana (Mexico) and knocked out an opponent in the second round. Interestingly, this fight has not yet been entered into the boxrec database, and the name of Sillah’s opponent is not named yet. The victory was the first since 2016.

Former cruiserweight title contender Andrzej Fonfara (30-5, 18 KOs) won a TKO victory in the sixth round over Ismayl Sillah (25-6, 19 KOs) in a fight that was the main event of the boxing evening in Warsaw, Poland. After the first careful round, Sillah went ahead in the second, and was able to cut the left eye brow of Fonfara, but at the end of the round he was knocked down. Yet Sillah signaled to the referee that his opponent had pushed him.

Ukrainian cruiserweight Ismail Sillah (25-5, 19 KOs) after losing to Russian Alexei Papin (9-0, 8 KOs) by KO in the first round on November 27 in Moskow, admitted through his Instagram that his physical condition is no longer the best, and also hinted that he could finish his career.

Russian Alexei Papin (9-0, 8 KOs) scored first round KO over former title challenger Ismail Sillah (25-5, 19 KOs). Sillah received several blows on his head at the end of the round, tried to escape from the attack, but was locked in the corner and missed several more punches to the jaw. Sillah fell to the floor unconscious.
