On March 30, at a boxing evening from DAZN under the auspices of Oscar de la Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions in Los Angeles, a fight for the WBA world champion title in the first heavyweight weight should take place between Arsen Gulamiryan (27-0, 18 KOs) and Gilberto Ramirez (45-1, 30 KOs). For Gulamiryan this will be his debut fight in the USA.
Apparently, a tender was scheduled for January 16, at which the organizer of the fight for the vacant IBF world heavyweight title between Mairis Briedis (28-2, 20 KOs) and Gilberto Ramirez (45-1, 30 KOs), may not take place.
Scheduled for November 25th, the fight between Richard Riakpo (16-0, 12 KOs) and WBA world heavyweight champion Arsen Gulamiryan (27-0, 18 KOs) will not take place. The Frenchman is in conflict with his promoter and will not return to the ring any time soon.
WBA world heavyweight champion Arsen Ghulamiryan (27-0, 18 KOs) announced the signing of a contract with the promotional organization Boxxer. In November in London, the 35-year-old boxer is due to fight Richard Riakpo (16-0, 12 KOs).
On September 10, a fight between the WBA world champion in the first heavy weight may take place in Marseille Arsen Gulamiryan (27-0, 18 KOs) and Tommy McCarthy (20-4, 10 KOs). The fate of this fight will largely depend on the decision of the court in the case brought against Canal+ by Gulamiryan's promoter Sebastian Akaries.
