The unified world heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, officially denied rumors about signing a contract with the promotion Zuffa Boxing, headed by Dana White.

In recent days, rumors have been actively circulating in the boxing community that the 39-year-old Ukrainian has allegedly already signed an agreement with the newly created league.

Usyk himself fueled fan interest a few days earlier by posting a concise but intriguing message on social media: “I’m not rushing, but preparing for something big.” This phrase was perceived by many as a hint of a major event in the boxer's career.

However, the champion's team promptly reacted to the spread of information. A clear statement was published through official channels: “Friends! Reports have appeared in the media claiming that Oleksandr Usyk has allegedly signed a contract with Zuffa Boxing. This information is not true. Please rely exclusively on official statements from our team.”

Usyk personally reposted this message, thereby confirming its authenticity and putting an end to speculations for the coming days. It is worth adding that the next opponent for the Ukrainian boxer has not yet been determined.
