After spending several weeks in Poland, middleweight Fedor Cherkashin (27-1, 17 KOs), holding high positions in the world rankings, returned to the United States, where he began preparing for his return to the ring and is waiting for the date of his next professional fight.
In his Instagram, Cherkashin posted a photo with Howard Davis after joint sparring sessions.
Last year, the representative of Polish KnockOut Promotions held two professional fights. His last fight took place in November at a tournament in Mexico.
"It was not a very big fight, but a very important step towards big goals in the new year. We are moving forward. The best is yet to come," said the 30-year-old Kharkiv native after his last fight.
Cherkashin ranks sixth in the WBO ranking, eleventh in the IBF ranking, and eighth in the WBC ranking. In each of these organizations, Cherkashin already has the right to challenge for the world champion title.
