Dubois Returned to Working with Charles

The British ex-world heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois has officially ended a short experiment with a new coach and announced his reunion with Don Charles, the specialist under which he achieved his greatest career successes.

This was announced today by the boxer's business partner Rees Khan:

“On behalf of the Dubois team, I confirm for the media and all interested parties: Daniel has decided to resume professional relations with Don Charles and his coaching staff.

After thorough analysis and discussions within the large team, Daniel has reconsidered his decision from last year. He is now returning to work with Don Charles, under whose corner the most striking and significant pages of his career have passed to date. We will announce the following fights additionally.”

Recall that the break with Charles happened last summer, shortly after the second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk (technical knockout in the 5th round of the rematch at Wembley). Then, the 28-year-old Briton decided to change the environment and spent several months under the guidance of Tony Sims, known for working with Conor Benn. However, it seems that the union did not take hold.
