Famous promoter Frank Warren once again spoke about the upcoming super fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Deontay Wilder.
In an interview with the YouTube channel BoxNation, the British official essentially admitted that he is no longer confident in the current state of the "Bronze Bomber".
"To speak quite frankly — I don't know what is left of Deontay now. But one thing I know for sure: he still knows how to punch. Very hard. He is one of the most frightening knockout artists in the history of the division. Style-wise, he now resembles Daniel Dubois more — enormous explosive power in one hand. And if he lands that bomb even once... who knows how it will end."
At the same time, Warren immediately added that in any prediction for such a fight, one would still have to bet on Usyk:
"We all perfectly understand how good Oleksandr is. He is a fantastic boxer, he knows how to defend as well as hit very accurately and powerfully himself. Before such a fight, you too would have bet on Usyk as the favorite, right?".
Let's recall that it was previously reported that the fight between Usyk and Wilder could take place in the spring in the USA.
