Warren told whether a fight between Wardley and Dubois is possible

Promoter Frank Warren dispelled rumors about an upcoming British heavyweight derby: WBO champion Fabio Wardley and former IBF titleholder Daniel Dubois will not meet in upcoming fights. According to Warren, his fighters will enter the ring in separate major shows that will be announced in the coming weeks.

Wardley, who became the rightful champion after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the belt, is preparing for his first title defense in the spring of 2026. Dubois, in turn, will return after his loss to Usyk and will also have a separate boxing event. Warren emphasized that Queensberry Promotions organizers are focused on creating spectacular events for fans.

The promoter himself does not rule out a hypothetical Wardley-Dubois fight in the future, calling it a potentially explosive clash between two knockout artists. "I like this match-up; it would be very spectacular," Warren noted in an interview with talkSPORT, adding that no such negotiations are currently underway.

Previously, Dubois's manager expressed his fighter's readiness to fight Wardley, but the promoter's plans are clearly aimed at separate trajectories.
