The driver of the car involved in the accident on Thursday, resulting in the deaths of two friends and trainers of Anthony Joshua (29-4, 26 KO), has been charged. 46-year-old Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode is charged with dangerous driving causing death, driving without due care resulting in injury or property damage, and driving without a valid driver's license.
The Ogun State Police Department confirmed that Kayode was charged in Sagamu District Court on Friday morning, and the hearing was postponed until January 20.
As a result of the tragic accident, which occurred when Kayode's Lexus collided with a truck parked on the side of the road, trainers and friends of Anthony Joshua, Latz and Sina, were killed, and Joshua himself sustained minor injuries.
