The undefeated American boxer, former world champion in five weight categories, Terence Crawford explained why he hung up the gloves.

“I'm 38. 38 is a lot for boxing. I've been boxing since I was seven years old. I have nothing left to prove. I have nothing left to achieve. What else can I do? They won't give me credit anyway, so it doesn't even matter,” Crawford is quoted by The Ring.

Let us recall that in September Crawford defeated Saul Alvarez by unanimous decision and became the undisputed champion in the second middleweight. In December, the 38-year-old American announced his retirement.
