Egis Klimas, the manager of unified world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, shared the latest news about organizing the fight between the Ukrainian and Deontay Wilder.
“It is very likely that we will see the Usyk – Wilder fight, as right now we are working on this and on a certain agreement for multiple fights for Oleksandr.
As soon as we confirm this, we will get down to work. And certain negotiations are already underway with Wilder's team. We are targeting Las Vegas or Los Angeles in late April or early May.
Wilder is one of the best names that Oleksandr has not yet faced. He is still in good shape, still a good fighter, so he is interesting. Moreover, this fight will take place in the USA,” Klimas told The National.
