Edgar Berlanga (23-2, 18 KO) has already realized that he is not invincible, but no matter what, he does not give up on his dream — to win the world super middleweight title. The Puerto Rican needs to regain his position with a victory, but he believes that, eventually, he will have the chance to fight Terence Crawford (42-0, 31 KO), the new king of the 76.2 kg weight category.
"Would I like to fight Crawford? Of course, I really do. But right now my main goal is to get back on the winning path. What happened in the fight with Shiraz didn't break me. I'm still a big star and the king of New York. I look great and fight even better. I have big plans for next year, and I can't wait to return to the ring," stated Berlanga.
A while ago, Gabriel Rosado (28-17-1, 16 KO) challenged Berlanga, and by winning last weekend, he confirmed his combat readiness.
