Former undisputed heavyweight champion British Lennox Lewis spoke highly of the current unified champion of the division, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
“Usyk has nothing left to prove. Alexander could have ended his career even before this fight. And by taking a rematch with Dubois, he is taking a big risk.
However, if Alexander feels he can handle this challenge, then the risk is justified, as a big title will be at stake. And right now Usyk is definitely among the great boxers like me and Muhammad Ali.
Alexander has a very high boxing IQ. But he is not a natural heavyweight. Nevertheless, he has experience. And Daniel is a natural heavyweight. So he can use that factor to his advantage, especially in the early rounds, by pushing Usyk against the ropes,” said Lewis in an interview with TNT Sports.
