Lionel Messi's bodyguard has thrown down the gauntlet to Logan Paul, challenging the YouTuber to a boxing match. This unexpected twist comes after Paul accused Messi of copying his sports drink brand and then backed out of his own challenge to the football star.

The drama kicked off when Messi launched his sports drink 'Mas+' in 2024. Paul, who co-founded Prime with his brother Jake, claimed Messi had plagiarized their bottle design, label, and branding. Messi's company hit back with legal action, accusing Paul of anti-competitive behavior and demanding he admit there was no plagiarism.

Paul didn't back down. Instead, he upped the ante by challenging Messi to a boxing match, hinting he'd drop the accusations if Messi stepped into the ring. Messi kept quiet, but his bodyguard, Yassine Chueko, jumped into the fray.

Chueko accepted the fight on Messi's behalf, catching Paul off guard. The YouTuber quickly backpedaled, claiming it was all just a publicity stunt. But Chueko isn't letting Paul off the hook that easily.

In a video posted on Instagram, Chueko signed a fight contract with a $15 million purse and unpacked boxing gloves with 'Lolo' written on them - his nickname for Paul. He called out Paul directly:

"Lolo! Lolo, look what I got. Lolo, when I hit you, you're going to have your name on your face, Lolo. Everyone is waiting for the fight. And you, still hiding. I've received messages from all over the place. Africa, America, Europe, everywhere. And you're still hiding. Lolo. Sign the contract and don't tell me to come to Puerto Rico. Let's fight here in Miami at Chase Stadium."

So far, Paul hasn't responded to this latest challenge. He's keeping a low profile, with Chueko describing him as 'hiding'.

The ball's now in Paul's court. Will he step up and face Messi's bodyguard in the ring? Or will he continue to dodge the challenge? Fight fans around the world are waiting to see what happens next in this bizarre twist to a sports drink rivalry.
