Throughout his professional career, Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KO) has been accompanied by promoter Eddie Hearn. The Matchroom boss commented on the chances of his long-time favorite returning to the ring.
AJ suffered a devastating loss to Daniel Dubois in September last year. He had a clause for a rematch, but he decided to undergo various procedures to heal all his injuries, and most importantly, just to rest. However, fans are supposedly guaranteed to see him in action this year.
“Anthony will return in November or December. He will fight someone from the top fifteen in the rankings. I hope he wins confidently, and this could lead us to a fight with Fury next year,” said Hearn.
“For the first time in thirteen years, I took such a long break. I did this to get my body in order. I am at that stage of my career where I can look at time a little differently. Because of this, when I return, I will return with new strength and conquer the heavyweight division again,” assures Joshua himself.
