Famous British promoter Eddie Hearn shared his opinion on the current stage of former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder’s career.
“I do not rule out a fight between Wilder and Anthony Joshua, but right now people are not giving Deontay much of a chance against AJ. But I hope he will start to look good again. Again, we are talking about fighters who stray from their path. This is a great example. It is funny how people can be so afraid of a fighter, and then suddenly there is no fear left.
I do not think anyone is afraid of Deontay Wilder right now, although at one point everyone thought: "Oh my God, this guy is the strongest knockout artist in boxing history." Now everyone wants to fight him. If he continues to win, then perhaps people will start talking about a fight with Joshua again,” Hearn said.
