Legendary British heavyweight Lennox Lewis believes that his compatriot Daniel Dubois is capable of claiming victory in the fight for the heavyweight championship against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
“I think Dubois is ready. He has gone through all the tests and hardships. He is a king’s killer. He has the strength for this. He has already sent Usyk to the canvas—he knows what to do. It would be great if he wins, as he is from Great Britain. It’s not an easy task, but Daniel is definitely capable of handling it,” said Lewis in an interview with Queensberry Promotions.
Let us remind you that Usyk and Dubois will have a rematch on July 19 in London. Their first fight took place in August 2023 and ended with a knockout victory for the Ukrainian in the ninth round.
