Former world champion in the heavyweight division Shannon Briggs believes that Ryan Garcia should hang up his gloves after losing to Rolando Romero.
“What’s his last name? Garcia, right? End your career. The worst fighter in history. Garcia is the worst fighter in boxing history. He got caught by all the jabs and check hooks. He has a good base, but he is not a fighter. He had all that d*ck drama, all that racist bullshit, and then he came back and had that fight? You lost to Romero?
Right now boxing is madness. If all these fighters are superstars, then what next? I watched all these fights ringside and thought, this is fucking awful,” said Briggs.
Let’s remember that on May 2, Garcia lost to Romero by unanimous decision in the main event of the boxing evening in New York.
