Romero named the fighter who will defeat Alvarez

WBA world champion in the welterweight division Rolando Romero shared his opinion on who is capable of defeating the absolute champion of the second middle division Saul Alvarez.

Romero believes that Canelo will lose not to Terence Crawford, with whom he will fight in the next bout, but to David Benavidez.

“What the hell has Canelo done for a very long time? Yes, I will bet on his victory over Terence Crawford, but that means nothing. I know that Benavidez will whip his damn ass. The thing is, David doesn’t fight for a paycheck. Benavidez fights because he wants to win, damn it. That’s the difference. Can’t you see it? In every fight, Benavidez comes out to win,” said Romero.
