Unified world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is trying to set up an all-title fight against IBF belt holder Daniel Dubois.
According to WBO president Gustavo Olivieri, Usyk's team has petitioned his organization to postpone his mandatory defense against Joseph Parker.
"The Championship Committee received a petition to consider the Usyk - Dubois fight to unify the heavyweight titles. After the official decision on this issue, we will announce it publicly, including clarifying Parker's challenger status, if relevant," Olivieri told Sky Sports.
Recall that earlier the WBO scheduled a fight Oleksandr Usyk against Parker, but Alexander has repeatedly said that he wants to hold a fight against Dubois.
