Matchroom Boxing's head promoter Eddie Hearn believes Croatian super bantamweight Filip Hrgovic will defeat Joe Joyce in their upcoming fight.
"Joyce had a very close fight with Dereck Chisora in his last fight. Without the knockdown it would have been a very close fight. Chisora is now a mandatory title challenger. Joe has always been slow in the ring. He never looked like an incredible, trained fighter. But he was extremely tough.
Joyce can punch, he has a great hold, but as Joe's career progressed, his ability to hold a punch changed. The punches that shocked him in the fight against Chisora would never have shocked him before. Thousands of rounds of hard sparring has become a problem. If you want a prediction, he will be properly beaten in three or four rounds on Saturday," Hearn said.
Recall that the fight between Joyce and Hrgovic will take place on April 5 in Manchester, England.
