Usyk reacted to the WBO's decision to assign him a fight with Parker

Unified world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk commented on the WBO's decision to assign him a bout against Joseph Parker.

According to Usyk, despite the position of the WBO, his goal remains the same: to fight for the title of absolute world champion with the IBF belt holder Daniel Dubois.

"Our army continues to defend our country. Our guys are fighting for freedom and I'm grateful for that. I feel like it's impossible to express our gratitude to the guys for what they're doing. That's first of all.

Secondly, the WBO said I have to defend its title. But now the goal of our team is to unify titles with Daniel Dubois," Usyk said in an interview with Riz Khan Show.
