American boxer Carson Jones (44-16-3, 32 KOs) has passed away at the age of 38. The boxer from Oklahoma spent two decades in the professional ring. In his last fight in October 2023, he knocked out James Warren in the second round. Among the most valuable accomplishments on his boxing resume are victories over knockout king Tyrone Brunson (TKO 3) and Olympic vice-champion Ricardo Williams (TKO 4), as well as equal fights against boxers such as Antonio Margarito and Kell Brook.

Jones died from complications following esophageal surgery. Earlier this year, he revealed on social media that he was suffering from gastrointestinal problems.

"I can't eat, I've lost 15 pounds. For the last few weeks I haven't eaten more than three bites of food daily. Some days I don't eat or drink at all. Thankfully, I'm about to undergo surgery," Carson wrote recently. Unfortunately, complications from the surgery proved fatal for him.
