David Benavides, the holder of the WBC interim belt and the regular WBA light heavyweight title, believes that the unified world champion in the super heavyweight division Oleksandr Usyk is definitely not for him.
"I'll be honest with you: I have to tackle the monsters in my weight class first. Usyk? I don't think I have enough experience to face Usyk. As they say, never say never. Maybe in 5-6 years. But then Usyk will be 40 years old or even more. In general, I have incredible respect for Usyk: he is one of the greatest boxers of all time," Benavides said in an interview with Fight Hype.
