Former UFC lightweight champion Aljamain Sterling shared his thoughts on a possible fight between the promotion's middleweight division belt holder Dricus Du Plessis and Hamzat Chimaev.
"I want to see the Du Plessis - Chimayev fight. And I still don't know who will win. Dricus - he's like a UFC middleweight Mayweather, it's impossible to bet against him. Hamzat is like a bulldozer, he tears opponents down in the first round. And Dricus can add to his game as the fight goes on, so Chimaev will be in a tough situation if he's out of breath at the start.
My heart says Chimaev will win. But if you think with your head, I'd bet on Dricus. It was the same in the fight between Merab and Umar - the latter was considered dangerous but the former was underestimated despite dominating previous fights," Sterling said on his YouTube channel.
