Undefeated American welterweight David Benavides has revealed who he would like to face in his next fight.

Benavides defeated David Morrell on points last weekend to become the mandatory challenger on the WBA and WBC lines.

"I would choose Dmitry, he beat Canelo. With a win over him I would prove that I am stronger than Canelo. I know Dmitry well, I sparred with him. We had great sparring sessions. So I would prefer to meet him," Benavides said in an interview with Ariel Helwani.

Recall that the absolute world champion in light heavyweight Artur Beterbiev will give a rematch Dmitry Bivol on February 22 in Saudi Arabia.
