Oleksandr Usyk picks Anthony Joshua to beat Tyson Fury on points. The Ukrainian boxer shared his prediction in a recent interview with Boxing King Media.
Usyk's opinion carries weight. He's cleared out the main competition in the heavyweight division over the last six years. The former undisputed cruiserweight champion moved up and achieved the same feat at heavyweight. He beat Anthony Joshua twice and Tyson Fury twice.
Joshua couldn't hurt Usyk significantly in either of their two fights. Usyk won both by decision. He then defended his belts against Daniel Dubois before facing Fury.
The first Fury fight ended with Usyk winning on points. He landed more significant punches across 12 rounds. In the rematch, Usyk won by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring it 116-112.
Despite his success against both men, Usyk found Fury to be the tougher opponent. Still, he believes Joshua will come out on top if they meet. In his interview with Boxing King Media, Usyk said:
