Jai Opetaia is targeting Hilberto Ramirez

"He took the fight three weeks in advance and gave me a real chop," Opetaia said after the win about his opponent. - I thought he was going to get in the ring and play around, but he didn't and I respect him for that. I take my hat off to David. Thank you. He wanted my belt. He kept going forward and we gave the audience a good fight."

Opetaia admitted he felt a lot of responsibility ahead of the home bout, but added that he tried his best to use any extra pressure as "energy."

"Ramirez, I'm going for the belt," Opetaya added of the win over Nyika. - I've been waiting for unification fights for a long time and I'm going for my belts."
