Tyson Fury is gearing up for his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, and his dad John Fury is right there with him in training camp. The father-son duo are working to turn around Fury's first career loss from their May clash.
Fury's last fight didn't go as planned. He took a big left hand from Usyk and ended up losing for the first time in his pro career. To make matters worse, his corner team seemed to be giving him mixed messages during the fight.
Now, as Fury prepares to face Usyk again on December 21, he's keeping his corner team the same. That means his dad John, trainer SugarHill Steward, and corner man Andy Lee will all be there on fight night.
Johnny Nelson, who used to spar with Fury, shared a story about Fury's relationship with his dad. He told Sky Sports Boxing about a previous training camp where John was shouting at Tyson during sparring.
"John Fury was shouting and screaming at Tyson, and Tyson turned around and said, 'You get in the ring and spar with him.' They're arguing, Tyson's used to that."
This kind of back-and-forth seems normal for the Furys. They're known to be extremely close, and their training dynamic is unique.
Fury's got his work cut out for him in the rematch. Usyk's no joke - he's a former undisputed cruiserweight champion and held all the heavyweight belts before Fury beat him the first time.
Fury's been hitting the gym hard, trying to get back to his best form. With his dad by his side and his familiar corner team, he's aiming to set the record straight and reclaim his spot at the top of the heavyweight division.
