Tyson Fury called Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois' boxing abilities "limited" in a recent interview. The Gypsy King made these comments as he gets ready for his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk next month.
Fury's bold statement comes after Usyk's impressive run against British fighters. The Ukrainian boxer has defeated Fury, Joshua, and Dubois, becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion in over 20 years. "Those men are limited compared to me compared to me, very limited. A man who walks forward like that to him [Usyk], it's Christmas time come early."
Fury believes his unique combination of size and boxing skill sets him apart from other heavyweights. He criticized the strategy of simply walking forward and trying to hit Usyk, questioning why Joshua and Dubois couldn't succeed with that approach.
The Gypsy King emphasized the importance of using his full skill set:
"Someone of my size and heaviness, it's not normal that I should be able to box, and move and slip. Why would I take that from my game? I wouldn't."
