Tyson Fury lost for the first time in his career last May. Oleksandr Usyk beat him by split decision to become the undisputed heavyweight champion.

After the fight, Fury said he won. He claimed he only gave Usyk three rounds, and one of those was a 10-8. Andy Lee, who's part of Fury's training team, thought the fight was close at first. He watched it again to be sure.

Gareth A Davies from talkSPORT boxing scored it 115-113 for Usyk. Lee agreed with this view when he talked to FightHype.com.

"I thought it could have been a draw but no arguments with Usyk getting the decision."

Lee broke down the fight. He said Tyson was cruising for the first eight rounds. In round nine, Tyson took a big punch. For the last three rounds, Tyson showed a lot of heart and almost won the last round or two.

Before the fight, Fury had a big problem. He couldn't spar during his training camp. They were worried about reopening a cut that had delayed the original fight date. This affected his fitness, sharpness, and ability to stay focused. It also made it hard for him to keep up his attacks.

"When Tyson had success he had to ease off and back away,"
Lee explained. This let Usyk come forward more.

For the rematch, Lee thinks Fury can do much better. He needs to be in better shape, be sharper, and keep up his attacks for longer.

"Tyson can improve a lot from the first fight,"
Lee said.

Fury and Usyk will fight again on December 21 in Saudi Arabia. It's called Fury-Usyk 2, and fans are looking forward to seeing if Fury can turn things around.
