Bivol puts an end to his rematch with Alvarez

WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol has made it clear that he no longer hopes to rematch Saul Alvarez.

"Honestly, I haven't heard Canelo's comment about wanting a rematch. I don't care about that. He lost and he had a chance to rematch. He didn't take it, he didn't even start negotiations.

Now the subject is closed. I have my way, he has his way in the second middleweight division. I'm a welterweight. We just have different paths," said Bivol in an interview with YouTube channel FightHype.

Recall that in May 2022, Bivol defeated Canelo by unanimous decision of judges.
