Anthony Joshua Names His Preferred Winner for Usyk-Fury Rematch: "It's Personal Now"

None

Anthony Joshua wants Oleksandr Usyk to win the rematch against Tyson Fury. The British boxer shared his thoughts as he gets ready for his own fight with Daniel Dubois.

Joshua lost to Usyk twice before. The first time was in London in 2021, where he gave up three major world titles. They fought again in Saudi Arabia in 2022, and Joshua lost once more.

Since then, Usyk has been busy. He defended his belts against Dubois and then beat Fury in May to become the undisputed champion.

Now, Joshua is getting ready to face Dubois for the IBF belt that Usyk gave up. At the same time, Usyk and Fury are set for a rematch in December.

Joshua told Sky Sports he's open to fighting either Usyk or Fury in the future.

"If they call me to fight them, 100 per cent. It's what I do. Fight. I'll be ready. It'll be an honour to fight them two. I'm not focusing on Usyk and Fury. I'll watch it. Let me get past Dubois. We'll see."

Joshua's focus right now is on Dubois. But he's keeping an eye on the Usyk-Fury rematch, hoping Usyk comes out on top.

If Joshua beats Dubois and Usyk wins his rematch with Fury, we might see an undisputed contest in 2025. But for now, Joshua's taking it one fight at a time.
