Eddie Hearn said an injury to Shakur Stevenson (22-0, 10 KOs) is not a threat to his fight with William Cepeda (31-0, 17 KOs) scheduled for February. The fight for the WBC lightweight belt will be part of "Season Riyadh" boxing night organized in the United States.

Stevenson's next fight was supposed to take place on October 12 against Joe Cordina, but the American suffered a right hand injury. Meanwhile, Cepeda will fight at the November tournament in Riyadh, where he will meet Tevin Farmer.

Stevenson is the World Boxing Council lightweight champion, while Cepeda is the official challenger for the title.
