Nuzhnenko weighs in on Lomachenko's chances of fighting Davis

Former world champion Yuriy Nuzhnenko shared his thoughts on a possible fight between IBF lightweight titleholder Vasyl Lomachenko and WBA belt holder Gervonta Davis.

"Everything is in his power, if Vasily, will have a good training camp, everything will work out. The most important thing is his physical and psychological condition. Of course, with age, speed does not increase, but thanks to his concentration, cunning, agility, skills, everything is possible. If we talk about a potential fight with Gervonta Davis, I estimate the chances equally. The American is unconventional, uncomfortable, punching. I can say the same about Vasily. He can also change his style - to be a puncher, to attack, to trick, to deceive. In principle, the Ukrainian owns all styles. He provokes himself, intercepts the initiative, catches, works on the opponent's mistakes, due to which he is constantly very uncomfortable for any opponent," said Nuzhnenko.
