WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) will return to the ring a few weeks late. Until recently, "The Tank" was scheduled to have his next professional fight on November 2, but the American will eventually step between the ropes on November 23 or December 14.

It is not yet known who Davis' opponent will be. In June, the 29-year-old fighter knocked out previously unbeaten Frank Martin, thus returning to the ring after more than a year off.

Recently, "Tank" was scheduled to fight Vasyl Lomachenko, Shakur Stevenson and Isaac Cruz. However, the first two turned out to have other plans and won't return to the ring until next year, while Cruz recently suffered a surprise loss to Jose Valenzuela.
