Stevenson injured, fight with Cordina canceled

The bout between Shakur Stevenson (22-0, 10 KOs) and Joe Cordina (17-1, 9 KOs), which was originally scheduled for October 12 in Riyadh, will not take place. The American injured his hand and had to reschedule surgery. Stevenson plans to return to action early next year.

The main event of the October event will be a four-belt bantamweight bout between Artur Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs) and Dmitry Bivol (23-0, 12 KOs). The undercard will also feature a fight between Chris Eubank Jr (33-3, 24 KOs) and Kamil Sheremeta (25-2-2, 8 KOs), among others.
