Lightweight Contender Reveals Surprising Edge in Tank vs Shakur Showdown: "It's Not Even Close"

Keyshawn Davis thinks Shakur Stevenson will beat Gervonta 'Tank' Davis if they fight at lightweight. Davis, ranked No. 3 by the WBC, has sparred with both fighters and believes Stevenson's skills will give him the ...

The potential match-up between Stevenson and Davis has got fans talking. It's a classic clash of styles that could be one of the most interesting fights in boxing.

Stevenson, the WBC lightweight champ, is known for his 'hit and don't get hit' approach. At just 27, he's already a three-weight world champion. But some fans haven't been happy with his recent defensive performances.

Davis, on the other hand, never fails to entertain. He's got a perfect 30-0 record with 28 knockouts. 'Tank' is patient but always looking to catch his opponents off guard.

In a recent interview with FightHub, Keyshawn Davis shared his thoughts on the potential fight:

"I think Shakur will win … I think Shakur got better skills and of course he's better defensively. I'm always going with the better skill and the better defensive fighter."

Davis praised both fighters but leaned towards Stevenson's style:

"Tank's skill is phenomenal but I just feel like he's offensive first. I feel like Tank is the type of fighter where he'll either be offensive first or he'll be very, very, very patient and just try and catch you slipping. Certain fighters just smart you know."

While Davis believes Stevenson will win, he doesn't think it will be easy:

"I just think Shakur will win that fight, it'll be a hell of a fight, a hard fight and it's definitely going to be a split decision, but I've got Shakur."

For now, the fight remains just talk. Davis's next move isn't clear, while Stevenson is set to defend his title against former super-featherweight champ Joe Cordina on October 12 in Saudi Arabia.
