World heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk said his mother is asking him to end his boxing career.
"After beating Tyson Fury, my mom said: "That's it, that's enough. You've accomplished everything already.' I explained to her that we have contractual obligations, a rematch clause..... My mom doesn't understand English, so I'll tell you straight: I'll keep fighting.
I love boxing. I feel that I still have strength in me. Boxing is my life. My wife once said: "You'll never stop doing it. You will go to competitions, go to trainings". And it's true," - said the Ukrainian in an interview with Boxing King Media.
Recall that on May 18, Usyk defeated Tyson Fury by split decision of judges. It is expected that on December 21 boxers will hold a rematch.
