Head coach of the Ukrainian national boxing team Sosnovsky will not go to the Olympics

The head coach of the Ukrainian national boxing team, Dmytro Sosnovskyy, will not go with the team to the Olympic Games. This was reported by Luckypunch.net with reference to the Ukrainian Boxing Federation.

The reason for this decision is the number of accreditations issued to the Federation. According to the rules, the number of accreditations for the coaching staff is 50% of the number of licenses for athletes. Thus, 2 coaches should have traveled to Paris with three athletes, however, the FBU managed to get 4 accreditations: for three personal trainers and a doctor.

As reported in the FBU, they tried to solve this issue and agree on another accreditation, but failed to do so.

Recall that Ukraine will be represented at the Olympic Games-2024 by Aider Abduraimov, Dmytro Lovchynsky and Oleksandr Khizhnyak. The Games will be held from July 26 to August 11.
