Berinchik: "In boxing, we would punch the Russians in the face, but this way we have to work to keep them out of the Olympics"

WBO lightweight champion Denis Berinchik (19-0, 9 KOs) responded to a question about the suspension of Russian athletes during a press conference.

"They are violating the Olympic Charter, we should suspend all athletes. If this is taken for boxing, then in boxing we would punch them in the face. And so we need to work to keep them out of the Olympic Games," said Berinchik.

Recall that on May 18, Berinchik defeated Mexican Emmanuel Navarrete by a split decision of judges.
