Klimas: “The fight against Fury will be the hardest in Usik’s career”

Manager of the WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight champion Alexandra Usika Egis Klimas shared his expectations from his ward’s fight against the WBC belt holder Tyson Fury.

The meeting between the Ukrainian and the British will take place on February 17 in Riyadh.

“We have been working on organizing this fight for a very long time. It definitely won’t be easy for Usik. It will most likely be the heaviest of his career. Alexander works hard on himself and knows what he still needs to do to be as ready as possible.

We will have a hard time finding sparring partners as Fury is very tall and has an unusual style. I have no doubt that Alexander will win thanks to his footwork and intelligence. I wouldn’t say Tyson hits powerfully, he’s just heavy and likes to tire his opponents,” Boxing Scene quotes Klimas as saying.
