December 23rd is the preferred date for Saudi advisor Turki Al ash-Sheikh to fight for four heavyweight belts between Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) and Alexander Usik (21-0, 14 KOs). The British co-promoter Bob Arum announced this in an interview with Boxingscene. However, the head of Top Rank noted that the date of the fight could be postponed.

“It depends mainly on Tyson’s condition after the fight with Ngannou. If Fury comes out of it without any problems with his hands, cuts, etc., we will bet on an earlier date. In any case, it will be winter, definitely before Ramadan [March 10],” Arum said.

The legendary promoter added that only the Saudis, represented by Al ash-Sheikh, who sponsor the event, have the right to name the final date of the fight.
