British coach Peter Fury assessed the prospects of his compatriot Daniel Dubois (19-2, 18 KOs) after losing to WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).
“I will not impose my opinion, because boxing is a very difficult sport. In any case, Dubois is an elite fighter. When you get on your knee after a jab, you put yourself on it. You know what you're doing because you take the knee. If you go up to the count of 9, then you don't want to continue.
I can tell the truth as I see it. Dubois was stopped twice with a jab - that doesn't look promising because at heavyweight you get a lot of criticism," Fury was quoted by Boxing Social as saying.
