Frank Warren confirmed on one of his social networks during the summing up of the Saturday night boxing in Wroclaw that he would submit an application to the WBA with a request to schedule a rematch between Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (19-2, 18 KOs).

“Now they say that Usyk would still have stood up [after the blow in the 5th round] if the score had been opened for him, but on what basis do they say this? He was shaking like a leaf in the wind, such was the force of this blow,” wrote the DDD promoter.

“Daniel should at least get a rematch, although it would be more correct to consider this fight a no-contest,” Warren added.
