Former World Heavyweight Champion Firat Arslan (54-9-3, 39 KOs) finally decided to end his career. The 52-year-old athlete will have his farewell fight on October 21 in Göppingen, Germany.
The German of Turkish origin began his professional career in 1997, and ten years later won his first championship belt. Until recently, Arslan still held high positions in the WBO rankings.
The last fight of the boxer from Germany took place in May. The name of the opponent in his farewell speech has not yet been confirmed.
