Jeff Mayweather: 'After the fight with Usyk, I began to think differently about Joshua'

American coach Jeff Mayweather in the release of the YouTube channel The Mayweather Channel recalled the fights of the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) against the former holder of these titles Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs).

“After the fight with Usyk, I began to think differently about Joshua as a fighter. Alexander is smaller, but he is better than Joshua as a boxer. But Anthony still tried to outbox him - I didn't see the point in that.
Joshua clearly had problems with boxing IQ. I don't know if they told him in the corner to fight like that. You can't outsmart a guy half your size," Mayweather said.

Recall that Usyk defeated Joshua in September 2021 and August 2022.
