Just a few hours after the end of the battle between Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs) IBF will oblige the Ukrainian to hold a mandatory title defense against Philip Hrgovic (15-0, 12 KOs).

Usyk, 36, currently holds the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles. The duel with Dubois will be the mandatory defense of the World Boxing Association title.

“The next day after the fight between Usyk and Dubois, the IBF will appoint a fight with Hrgovic. Of course, Dubois can interfere with these plans, I wish him all the best, but the chances of this are small, ”says Eddie Hearn.

Next in line for the duel with the Ukrainian is Khrgovych, who is the official contender for the belt of the International Boxing Federation. Usyk's fight with the Croat may take place in January at a boxing evening organized in Saudi Arabia.
