White fails doping test, fight with Joshua canceled

British heavyweight (27-3) Dillian Whyte passed a positive doping test and will not be allowed to fight with a compatriot Anthony Joshua, which was scheduled for August 12 at the O2 Arena in London, UK.

“Due to these circumstances, the fight between White and Joshua will be canceled and a full investigation into the situation will be carried out. We will provide more detailed information later,” the Matchroom promotional company said in a statement.

Recall that Joshua and White have already met in the professional ring. Their first meeting took place in 2015 and ended with Anthony's victory by knockout in the seventh round.
