Shane McGuigan, Former WBA Heavyweight Mandatory Challenge Coach Daniel Dubois, shared his opinion on the fight of the British boxer against the unified world champion Oleksandr Usyk.
“This is a tougher, rougher fight than with Anthony Joshua. I think Dubois has a heavier punch than Joshua. As for me, he is more fearless, but Daniel misses more. He is not so technical, his boxing is not close to that level. However, he has a 100% puncher chance. He's dangerous as hell in the first four or five rounds.
As soon as Usyk starts to get into his rhythm, if he starts to get into it, if he does not concede in the first three or four rounds, then you definitely need to bet on Alexander to win. But I've never seen people get dropped the way Dubois did. He is a phenomenal puncher. But he needs to deliver the punch - that's the point," McGuigan said in an interview with the Boxing King Media YouTube channel.
Recall that the Usyk-Dubois fight will take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland.
